1979 930 Valuation Question
1979 930, very good to excellent condition, one repaint in factory Mocha Brown, tan leather, euro exhaust, new turbo, fully serviced, all numbers matching, tool kit compressor etc., aftermarket stereo - have original radio. Have records back to 94 but not complete, 31k miles. I follow market fairly closely I see really nice to perfect cars with 180k + asking prices and complete beaters 35k +, this car is obviously somewhere between those extremes. I want to list car at a fair price but I don't want to give it away.

I've been looking the past 2 years and bought one 6 months ago.
That's a great color combination IMHO which I believe gives it value. If it hasn't been modified and it's only one repaint with no other stories.........I think that's the market right now. |

sorry for the hi-jack. I have a 1979 930 turbo and heading into an ugly divorce. I was hoping that it hadn't appreciated tooo much, but online valuation is significant. What's the range today?
Thanks, Trying to keep below the radar!!

![]() Kidding aside, some state of disassembly might negatively impact the valuation if you need to determine worth to buy her half out.

80k to 90k. That is a excellent color combo. For what its worth I don't think ebay is a effect platform to sell these cars once they get close to the century mark. You might try a broker ect.

I would agree on ebay - seems like a good place to list a 76-77 but not a 78-79, don't understand why, probably a good place to list a ROW car.

I have a buyer wanting my 78 Mocha however I would like to keep mine for awhile. He is a surgeon so little time to look for sale ads and inspecting it, and he lives close to you so checking it out should be easy for him.
