I have to agree on these points. Was not aware you were going charcoal. Electric blue or a pure medium intensity green stand out without telling all the cops to chase me!

Yikes, I am not a fan of that wheel color, and yes the metallic aspect of it challenges the subtle metallic hints in the gray of the car's body.

I like the flat orange of a few years ago, considered doing it to my wheels and mirrors but chickened out and went with black wheels (silver lip) and black mirrors.

I think the darker gray with the muted orange would look good together (see below).

My interior
Cant do orange. I like the red but still think I might need the lips to be polished? These wheels might look bad with red lips.

I think the wheels on the first car are powder coated.

Red anodized powder coat looks great on wheels but I'm not sure I would have the stones to do it on my own car.

I think it could work. Especially if you tie it to your interior, which is awesome on its own. I vote all red, matching your seats.

The plot thickens.....................the other shoe drops.............more information forthcoming?

A photo of your car no matter it's former color and a picture of the proposed wheel type will most certainly help further commentary.

Based on the images posted so far, I personally favor a low luster or matte finish like that anodized wheel.

I used spray on Plasti-dip on my wheels, don't get much more matte than that.

BTW I have a funny story, my wife told me her dad fixed one of his horses open wounds on a leg with some epoxy! Well it really just kept the maggots inside the area longer. Dr. said it would have been fine if there were no flies or whatever in there. Horse was pissed.
Excellent foresight, Brandon - get a dent/ding after the car is painted, and boom, mix up some JB and fill that bi@ch in - no touchup paint necessary!

Thanks for the horse & maggots story (I think - grooooosssssssssss)! I will be sure to cross "wound dressing" off of my list of uses for the stuff!

That is indeed a blasphemous, low-rent, out of line suggestion and is entirely unsuitable for such a fine automobile! Plasti-dip is only approved for use on Miatas, Minis and Fiat 500s!

Great color. Had a 67 911 that color, but got badly burnt in my garage fire. Now its a white race car and nickname is Pyro. I would have a 930 in that special order grey color any day.

It's well known you'd have any 930 any day.

You've gotta spend some time in the OC.... AMG black series, Lambos, m series, and yes many a porsche with full body plastidip... It would make you sick. I'm not a fan for permanent, but if you want to see how your wheels look for a few weeks before going full monty, have at it.
