Black-and-white Porsche 930

Ive always thought the 930 photographs well in B&W. I have a few favorites here and I welcome more.

Tony,
I do like the b/w pics !
Picture #2 , Fred Veitch hammering it through turn 6 at (looks like) RIR , one curious onlooker at the base of the bleachers. Sandbags for rumble strips ???!
Good stuff...thanks for posting.

Marty, that is Fred at Riverside in 1976. Hereís ZN 140 today in color.

Speaking of B&W photos, Iím still hoping thereís a possibility that my car is the silver/black leather 930 that is in the Porsche factory B&W press photo from 1975 (non-optioned A/C and optional sunroof). Sunroofs on preproduction cars were unheard-of and since all 1975 930s were RoW, there were fewer sunroof than non-sunroof coupes for the 1975 model year. My car is an earlier production than I thought as it was invoiced and sold by Ponís to Vasek in May of 1975. I believe the actual Porsche production date is late-Feb/Mar 1975.
