What is the correct color of boost-wire contact for gauge?

I finally plunked down some change to get a proper 930 tach for my 3.3L

I have everything wired correctly(I believe), as +12V, tach sensor and ground are connected. I have an extra red/white wire, and I don't know if this is some leftover from the 83'SC series, or if this is the boost contact from the back of the engine. All factory wiring harnesses came with my engine.

BTW...when turned on(I still have not connected the red-white lead, the BOOST gauge is on FULL boost, and goes back to zero when engine is off. Tach works normally.

Thanks for any assistance.
