Full Load Cold Start Enrichment Comensator?

I was told the full load cold start enrichment compensator needs to be cleaned but I have no idea what this is. I tried searching but to no avail and I was told my car needs this part cleaned.

Anyone know what this is, where it is, and how to clean?

Full load and cold start should never be used in the same sentence, let alone part description. In CIS the WUR performs these separate functions. By coincidence the cold control pressure and the boost pressure can be the same number.

Ok. I was told my car under cold conditions is running lean and this part, the one I noted, needed to be cleaned. Now I was told there are 2 WUR's, one for fuel, one for air/idle. My problem is fuel whereby the car is running lean when cold so it sputters until warm. Can I clean this? Any DIY? Is my guy just confusing things?

sounds like you need to forget what you have been told and find another guy

the WUR has control pressure for warm and cold.
the pressure is lower when cold to make it run richer. as it warms up, the control pressure goes up makeing it lean out for normal HOT running conditions.

Wonderful. Can the WUR be cleaned, does it need to be adjusted, or replaced? How do I test this?

A worn out WUR will run lean when cold commonly. You can decrease the cold control pressure (enrich the mixture) by pressing in the cold mixture plug on the top rear of your WUR. There are good write ups on the specifics in the archives.

Much appreciated. My car takes about 10 minutes to get to full operating temp which I just thought was normal. I will have a look.
