1997, 993 C4s muffler and cat replaced with Fabspeed cat bypass and muffler. Made the change 4 days ago and the muffler is blowing white smoke. Was not happening prior to the change?Thank you, in advance for any assistance my porsche brethren.

Burning off the crud inside the piping? I did headers/exhaust and was smoking for a few days until everything burned in. - Just a thought.

If the smoke is embarresing take the car out and night when it's hard to see it and drive long enough to burn off whatever's making the smoke. hope that helps...

4 days ago??? how many miles?

Few miles or may be 15' of the engine running at normal temp plus a couple of red lines should take care of anything inside that muffler; if not, time to start looking for something else. BTW, whitish smoke = oil.

First post... where are the pictures of the car???
