Found a crack in the exhaust going to turbo

I was checking out all my oil leaks on my 79 930. And I saw this weld is cracked. It's also leaking exhaust so it's all the way through.

I was planing on a long trip to myrtle beach tomorrow.

I guess I should have looked sooner haha.

Wonder if this is something I can live with for now until I get home. I'll weld it up but I don't want to tear it apart right now.

Question is is this common on this exhaust?

And should I park it until I fix it? I'm torn

Do you have SS headers? Be very careful and have a pro that does headers weld these. You do not want any slag inside the tube that can break free and destroy your "turbolader". I sent my headers back to B&B for a pro-repair. This is also true for any welding even if not SS.

Looks like very poor penetration on the right side. Simple fix.
