10K Miles: 1986 Porsche 911 Rinspeed R69 | Bring a Trailer

Quote:

This 1986 Porsche 911 Turbo (VIN WP0ZZZ93ZGS000344) is a one owner Rinspeed conversion with 10k miles on the odometer. The Testarossa-inspired styling is definitely out there, but the car does appears to be in excellent condition. Check out the interior–between the seats and steering wheel alone we count nearly 60 buttons, and although the ad is light on info documentation appears to be extensive as photographed. Find it here on eBay in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with no reserve beyond the $59,999 starting bid.

I saw that one on e-Bay, wow. Not sure who would buy it at any price.

If there ever was a more crying need for 3 lbs. of C4, I don't know what it could be...

I'd pay the $24K that the recent '79 basket case went for. MAX. But first I'd have to buy a white blazer and teal t-shirt.

I've seen worse. I couldn't live with an avalanche done car they're just too much. This car is also too much but look close, other than those seats, it's clean and nicely done. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't want to own it as is, unless no one will see me get out of it

It is a bit of a "goatse" moment, isn't it?

Whatever you do, DO NOT search goatse.cx

It is best to leave it as a metaphorical reference, without actually experiencing it.

I wonder if the driver of the 944 was ok? Cos clearly, he rear-ended a 911 at some point, and never reversed out.

Lots of silicone bonded bodywork.....and we all know what the next line is, don't we folks?

"Robbbyg....is that you?" (sorry mate, couldn't resist, lol)
