1986 930 Genealogy
First off I would like to say hello to all. Over the years owned several 911's and recently inherited a 86 930 father owned buying as a owner dealer with a couple thousand miles, via family inheritance. While reviewing service records with the shop that was doing the work for many years the mechanic had made reference that this was a very unusual car due to it having a "Kremer" motor in it and at one time verified through an industry friend.
Is this even possible? Asked if he had any docs showing this but he did not, Happened into this when replacing some parts and work? So it was just verbal, however he really had nothing to gain by telling me the story. SO, my simple question from you kind people is where would you point me to research provenience - genealogy to confirm such innuendo? Love the car and will for sure it will never get sold because of how it came to me and the wife so we'll be doing the same when the time comes. Thanks for any help, should be fun playing Ahab looking for said whale. |

If you have no documentation that's unfortunate
You can read up here Cool article on the Kremer 930. Or Why not take some clear pictures and post. That will be the most helpful. |

Welcome! I look forward to hearing more about your car. You'll get more help after posting pics of your car, many should be the engine details.
