The 'official' 930 Dyno Vid Thread

Searched and didnt find one soooo....

Pretty simple:
1. List out the pertinent mods
2. Post your cars dyno run and chart

If you would like I can even post your video on my YT channel if you would like. PM me if interested.

My car:
86 930
Tial WG (one bar spring, unconfirmed)
B&B headers, dual-out muffler, intercooler
044 pumps

337whp/341ftlbs @ 13psi

Capture930dyno by thecrashingdoor, on Flickr

Is there no way to embed YT links on Pelican?

a modified fuel head with bigger lines and a BL WUR may build you some protection against detonation...just saying...

1979 - Stock except for later heat exchangers. Emissions stuff is disappeared and wastegate goes to wastegate muffler.

Peak power was 285, peak torque was 295.

They said their boost gauge was off, I don't remember if he said high or low.

Hello Menmojo,
Bravo, your engine has an incredible power, you could give me a small description of your preparation engine? (ECU, trigger wheel 60-2/36-1, collection internal diameter of escape, turbo, cams, syringe (cc) of fuel, ignition, sensors etc.) I have Ruf 3.4L but it is not "still" in EFI, when I see the results of your car that gives envy(urge)! Thank you.

Good thread idea but without guidelines/categories it will get messy quick.
16V it looks like you could use a WUR rebuild, there is power on the table from 3000-4250.
Zakthor has a beautiful fuel curve. Please tell us if your WUR is stock of modified.

I believe it is stock and never adjusted. I just went through all the records and there's nothing about the WUR.

^^^^ our engines are almost identical minus my stock cams.

Holy crap you made some big power.

What RPM did you have to turn it? I want to stay at 6750 tops due to stock rods and heavy Max Moritz pistons.

Max hp @ approx 6100-6200 rpm on the Dyno.
I have the redline set at 7000 rpm.
On the street I keep the boost down to 1 bar.
@ 1 bar I'm pretty sure it's approx 600 hp.
I want to make sure this engine lasts.

Thanks you Menmojo! I also had to put a big Wastegate precision turbo PW66 to regulate my turbo (P67 / 66 AR 0.82 with exit 3 " towards the intercooler), I did not want to put 2 Wastegate. If I cross(spend) a day in EFI I do not know if I have to put a trigger wheel 36-1 or 60-2, I know it nothing about this subject! Given that I make my engine at the moment I would in advance like to install(settle) the maid to trigger wheel. Still bravo for your car!

That is insane power for such low RPM.

The part that I dig the MOST about your build is that I see the a/c compressor on the right side still there! Bravo sir!

Chris.
