First test of action cam.....
 

Got myself a GoPro clone yesterday and gave it a go this morning....

Did a small clip on the way to a local cars and coffee meet.

The oil pump comes through really loud on the video for some reason, its noway near that loud when you hear it, the Zork drowns it out. The pops and crackles on the down shift just sound nothing like they actually do, they are really loud normally.
Guess the mic is a bit pants in the camera, but it was only £48 inc delivery.

Looks and sounds good, which camera did you get? I only ask because I have a couple of Sony "action cams", low light and sound is supposed to be better than the go pro...

I got an SJ4000, it was 1/3 the cost of a Gopro.

Just found out there is no factory option for an external mic which is a shame as there is wind noise when its placed into airflow. But you can retro fit an external mic if you can solder!
