I have no use for a radio in these cars. In all the years I have driven them the only time the radio was on was to see if it still worked. Finally decided the space could be utilized a lot better.

LOL - Brian, I made that one for you.

Tony, You have won this one if you would like it.
I was digging around my parts and found it hiding. I don't need it, so, pm me a shipping address if you want it.

Since I'm a procrastinator, I ran it in the ashtray since Aug 13...

Thanks for the idea.

I'll have a look, I might have a blank one that you could mount your PLX in.
PM a shipping address and I'll let you know if I have one.

Rather than just have a radio delete plate, I just finished making a little storage pocket out of that space (fits my I-phone 6+ just fine). Still evaluating the texture vs just making the exterior finish smooth.

Look good.

I'm waiting for another gauge to arrive and will mount them.

Your phone will drop when boost hits. I use a delete plate too and it has switches for engine crank, 2 fuel pumps and another timing map on it.

Do you have a wiring diagram for the engine crank?

Here you go, picked this up from pelican some yrs ago. I have another button for crank at the engine bay for ease of diagnosing. Initially I just wanted to save my ignition switch but these have become handy over time.

From 930

Thanks

The optional Engine Bay switch is a great idea. Another winter project

Well change of direction as another project (RS Door Panel) and adding another O2 Sensors made their way in...

Very slow day at the office...

So I use Excel to do a template of my soon to be fitted Gauges Panel (L & R AFR and Voltmeter) which will include the repositioned window switches and USB connection for Data logging.

Console as is:

I recently ordered a radio delete plate off ebay but was disappointed after it arrived. It snaps into the existing hole but it sits on top of the dash fascia and will move around as it doesn't fit tightly. I was expecting something that fit into the empty radio space that sat flush with the dash fascia. Did I get the correct part?

The plastic one sucked.
