My experience with rear bearing crush sleeve

Pressed the races with the arm on the car with a few spacers from home depot. They I was a little cheap and reused my old crush sleave they measured 26.70 .put the hub and cv joint back on , torque it all and could not get the right play .they were binding.
Had to remove the hub , press out the outer bearing etc...
Had to scrap the outer bearing .ordered new ones with a new spacer ( measured 27.30)
Put all back together and now all perfect.
I did not need to press the hub and axel just tightened them with the nut .
Actually quite and easy job with the engine out.
Thanks
Erick
