CIS fuel head repair kits

While clicking around on ebay I came across these fuel head repair kits. Looks like they're for cast iron fuel heads and the kit packages say made in USA.
FWIW, there's posts with pictures on the tech forum where people have rebuilt these things at home.

Bosch doesn't sell repair kits to the general public.

Than makes this place most excellent.
With the new technology they are using the stainless diaphram they cut may be better than what bosch made 35 years ago. I've seen pics of the old metal ones with dimples bent into them under the flow adjusters.

They have this download link for rebuild instructions in PDF format.

I have a number of their kits here and can vouch for the quality. Very nice gear for a very small price. Just requires a brave soul to install

They also do an alignment pin set that is definitely useful during reassembly.

search through their store for your FD part number as they have alloy head kits as well

that is aftermarket...

...but: they say their material can handle the crappy exx fuel. My fuel head (alloy) was damaged by bad fuel. the o-rings were weak and partial gone. i ordered a set and mounted it. did not use it now. it sits here and waits for my engine to be back in car. bosch only deliveres complete heads. so i did my damaged head and will try in spring. costs a fraction of the excange price. rhin it is worth a try.

i might consider it for $30-$40. i would also just replace the shim. pulling the center barrell out that the pin goes in is just asking for more trouble. IMO.
if i put the kit in and i still had running problems i would always wonder if the head needed to be calibrated for fuel flow.
i think the head needs to be calibrated for a certain amount of fuel flow for a given movement of the center pin. the ports also need to be balanced.
i have checked the balance on my head and it was not too bad. i did do a minor adjustment on one port. its such a pain in the rear end to do with hard lines. having to deal with fuel leaks and fuel smell is not worth it.

i am sending mine to flow tech in a few months. i still get VERY odd AFR's depending on what gear i am in, the RPM and where the mixtrure screw is set.

This kit is very attractive seen its price(prize), however once all the replaced joints, it is necessary to be capable of settling / balancing well the debit(flow) of the fuel, it is not a small matter!
Is there also a kit for the restoration of the WUR?
