intercooler options?

Hi Folks,

seeing as how OEM 930 part prices are skyrocketing, does anyone have good suggestions on an intercooler to use for a 3.2 turbo conversion? Not concerned on originality, and seeing as how an OEM 930 intercooler is somehow worth $400 now, has anyone used a 996/997 intercooler with success? The inlet and outlet position on a passenger side 997 intercooler looks promising. They seem to be available on Ebay for $100-$150

Cheers

Also interested in this, would prefer to buy a nicer/OEM intercooler vs. Chinese one. Anyone?

We have an OEM replacement intercooler.
TurboKraft makes a Carrera turbo conversion intercooler.

I've been looking around the last few days, can't find any examples of people using 996/997 intercoolers. I'm half tempted to pick one up off of Ebay and see what I can do. Kind of crazy that a 30 year old OEM intercooler is worth 4-5x the price of a 5-10 year old OEM intercooler.
