Any cool steering wheels out there? Feeling like a change ;)

I saw BMWTMX's "sold the 930" post and really dig the steering wheel the car has.
I have some sort of Momo but after 12 years I'm ready for a change. My knuckles have always been extremely close to the dash pad at the top, too.
Anyone care to post up what they might have, or what works with a basically stock black interior? Diameter?

Maybe on a second thought it's a tad too big?

Momo Mod 7. Has enough dish that it gets my knuckles away from the dash and is in a perfect position for my extended seating position.

Kenster-

I drove your car yet sadly completely ferget WTF you're running on there... pics?

Dewd... if I didn't already have a wheel that I friggin ADORED... shiit, I'd be alllllllllllllll over this:

THE Wheel for Your car: (930 owners)

Damn, what a cool wheel. I'm shocked it's still available. I really dig that one.

Some of the Momo's, etc. are just too glitzy for me. I do dig the Fittapaldi Personal / Mod7 / Porsche Design ones too, I'd suffer with any of those had I not what I got.

Ken, whatever wheel you score... I'd highly suggest you consider Zuff's hub spacer. Got mah knuckles out of the f'n dash (majorly annoying), but more importantly, got my knees out of the freakin knee bolster - finally achieved the proppah driving position.

And I'm only 6', you got at least an inch or 2 on me there - I'd bet it'd really help.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - the wheel / spacer have probably been the single (er, double?) best mods I've done to the car... the smaller diameter allows steering with shoulder blades, and the overall telepathic tactile road / mannerism inputs are just astounding.

Report back!

This is a Personal Grinta in the 350mm diameter:

I also have a Nardi Classic 360mm in black with red stitching that I've never mounted.

Like Gumba, I would choose the Porsche-MOMO design wheel. Functional and beautiful like most Porsche designs... like flying an airplane.

My favorite steering wheel has been the old Personal Fittipaldi ever since I first saw one around 35 years ago. Or a new Fitti E3 that replaced it.
This place has the best price on them I've found.
Personal Steering Wheel - Fitti E3 - 350 mm (13.78 inch) - Black Leather

I used to have a MOMO Prototipo and I like how they look but I never liked how it felt. I like smooth contoured thumb slots.
If you want the wheel closer to you one option is install a quick release hub and then you can remove the wheel in a second for security or for more room when working inside the car and the wheel will be a couple inches closer to you when it's mounted.

Had a MOMO in the old Red Rocket

The Gray Ghost has a 930S. Like this wheel as it allows me to see the guages without turning them. Has a good grip, comfortable to use. Please excuse the grainy picture as the cover was half on the car so lighting was low.

I have a Momo V35 dated 1993 in VGC I'd let go for $100. Super comfortable with a thick grip. It wont get your hands any farther from the dash though.
I lifted the pic from the net but it looks just like mine.

I have one that I'd part with. I'll shoot some pics after breakfast. I went with a more track/race style.

Having just paid Classic 9 for a leather dash restoration, I bought a 1 in Momo spacer to get my hands farther from the dash. Hopefully this will make it easier to read the gauges as well.
