First sunlight in 3 years. I had a bunch of crappy stuff happen in my life, and let her sit for while . I have been worrying if the fd would be stuck , I had more or less, just put her away wet and dirty .
New battery , few cranks of the key, and it fired right up . I am gonna try to pile some miles on it this year ![]()

Crown...hummm blow off valves...no not buying into that.
I'm thinking there is more going on here, after all having the throttle linkage attached to them, and on top of the intake charge plenums, means it has to be throttle transition/idle/overrun something related? Some 935 engines have the items blocked off with plates, while other 935's have none of these at all? Mark Last edited by full quack; 03-14-2016 at 06:29 PM.. |

I am getting the idea that some people are doing the high-speed equivalent of 'Watch this! Hold my beer...'
taking a pic of your dash at 135+mph is a ****ing stupid thing to do. |

Well I don't know about anybody else here...but I've never driven that fast on a public road, nor have I ever inhaled, I've never had drunken unprotected sex, and I've never voted for a republican. Furthermore, I've never even gotten out of third gear on my Ducati.
So if anyone ever tells you that I sat on the roof (through the open T top of a camaro while doing 100+ with the crusie control on}, well they are simply mis-informed, as that would be a foolish thing to do. Mark |

I take 135mph+ driving pretty seriously. I don't do it with one hand while trying to take a picture with the other. 'Politically Incorrect' is one thing, it's dangerous enough on its own. adding distractions inside the car just make it reckless.

![]() PS- I can't believe Paul, Kenik, the new dude Ravi, or someone else hasn't said something to the effect of that my blurry pic wasn't due to bumpy road surface. ![]() Fixed! You're welcome, Mr. Lowrider Dubs Dude!!!!! Last edited by Ronnie's.930; 03-15-2016 at 09:50 AM.. |

Alas, naked not...but it was a repo'ed car and we were told to bring it back it any condition. That was a fun summer job...didn't even get shot at, although some of the picks were a bit dicey :}

Did my own research about the 935 engine intake throttle bodies on top of the plenums.
Turns out they are there to help smooth out resonances in the pressurized intake plenums, to better balance flow on both banks of intakes. Mark |

Peru Red is one of those weird colors, it does not photograph very well, but in person it is awesome . just a period correct cool Porsche color. Within the first 10 seconds of looking at this car, I knew it was coming home with me.
