Oh I do drive it! In fact just got back from across town in it. I am not going to lie though, it gets washed before I put it back in the garage. Like a marriage it is a commitment lol

Really, is it now? Most modified cars on this board have period correct mods on them. Maybe you can give your description of non-period correct mods.

Exactly - even EFI conversions are "period correct", considering that non-Turbo 911s from around 1983 onward (would have to look up exact year), came from the factory with EFI. Same goes for most all other mods, except wheel size (aka - rollin' on dubs ).

I assume "period correct mods" would be anything available in the 70's and 80's such as K27 turbos and Andial intercoolers. Non period correct being EFI and Garrett turbos. Andial, DP, and Kremer 930's are really cool for what they were. Don't see too many of those anymore. The vast majority of the mods we do are old school, that part is not rare.

+1
I know things are changing regarding the Porsche 930 where the number of investors and flippers has increased dramatically over the past year. Sign of the times, I guess.

That being said.....
But, I don't know about the rest of you, but it kinda pi$$e$ me off when the concour-aholics start talking about "period correct" or "originality" of our cars. I have spent hundreds of man-hours doing mods and maintenance on my 930. These cars reward you when you do things right and bite you in the a$$ when you don't. I love 'em!!

Same here. I don't understand what they're doing on a DIY based forum from a company that's all about doing your projects yourself with upgrades and so on.

Question - does rolling on dubs count when you need 18" wheels to clear your brakes? Just curious

Geez, I'm getting old. I had to google it to find out what it meant. Too funny
