just picked up a nice set of used 78-78 long fin calipers for my 930 clone project. car has stock SC brakes and suspension, so plan to upgrade to match the modified build of the 3.3 turbo motor.

I'd say I'll be close to 2 feet by the time I fire up the Honda to clear the driveway tomorrow.

I had a good day working on my interior garden and ordering parts for the car.

I can definitely relate to the the cold temps pains youse twos are experiencing up thar as it was 77 here today, full blazing sun, and with my turbocharged a/c blowing hard (like Paul), I thought I might actually be subject to frostbite!!!

Mike, be warned that when you post a pic such as that, Paul prints it and subjects it to unclean acts whenever he has moments of privacy at the home front!!!

Remember, Paul, bud is short for buddy. Do you know what a buddy is?

I'd been in boot camp just a few days and was standing Fire-Watch around the outside of our Quonset huts in the middle of the night when one of our Drill Instructors returned from a night out. He saw me, put his face a few inches from mine and whispered "Am I your buddy?" Not wanting to offend this demon incarnate, I quickly responded "Yes, Sir!", not whispering. How quickly the demeanor of a Marine Corps Drill Instructor can change. He cuffed me hard the left side of my head and asked, this time loudly, "Are you sure you're my buddy?!" Uncertain exactly what to say I answered again, "Yes, Sir!". Then, whispering closely again, this time in a sardonic tone, he asked, "Do you know what a buddy is?"

A week or so before Christmas, 1974, I learned what a buddy is.

I've never had one, never will.
