When Paul can discuss Alumnibiotch, I can try to bring this back on track with some regular OT:

Here's my new "old" commuter. I am back in Denmark, so economy was the focal point
They say diesels are good on milage, well:

Meet my 535d. It is awesome, for what it is...

To those crying about the snow. Hang in there

Last weekend at my old folks:
Beemer on the left,

Still awaiting the precious shipment. Will post POTD, non OT, later.

That was our cloth washing machine for a few months while we remodeled our (I'm being polite) fixer upper. The dryer was about 60 ft. away in the garage.

My Drill Instructor's definition didn't mention dolls, be they firemen or carpenters.

Ironically, that is what Ronknees is most often heard exclamating!

Note, I said bud and nothhhhhhhing about buddy.

Tho, when I was in Army bootcamp (crap Norm, yer OLD... you were there when I was approaching 2yrs old lol), we did have Battle Buddies... someone to watch your 6 and you watch theirs (note I did not say BACK)... kinnnnnnda sorrrrrta a different definition.

Brendon... hilarious reference w/ the vid... Ronknee's got an entire "bedroom" full (not really a bedroom, more apparatus and device-centric).

Although I try to remember to not use the term "buddy" since that night so long ago, your comments did remind me of one of the differences - as Marines see it, anyway - between the Army and the Marine Corps. Just a simple little saying, it goes ...

Marines never leave their buddies behind.

Soldiers never leave their buddy's bee-hind.

Anyway, according to Drill Instructor Sergeant Stevens, a buddy is a guy who goes downtown and gets two BJs, then brings one home for you ...

Figured I should kinda maybe oughta actually post some pics.

I'm so close I can nearly taste it. When not traveling I've dedicated some time to cleaning the wheel wells and rear suspension, and refurbishing my cv joints/axles. It's finally time to get the engine off the stand, finish bolting up the rear cooling tin, the clutch and the gearbox and get this thing installed and fired up.

Wise word choice for sure, and great looking engine, too (looks remarkably similar to what I did with mine many moons ago - appearance wise, not the boss twin plug &distributorless shat you've got going there - sweet!)!

Probably not. I got it from Andial late 80's. I was giving a guy a ride in the car and showed him the key for the tell tell. He thought that was the way I controlled the boost That would have been clever.
