Recall my theory on that, Deez; as the 911 ownership pool becomes more and more elderly, they begin to identify with the colors they see most often - puke, pizz, shart, and shrubbery - hence the premiums placed on off whites (cheezy color names like "chiffon" and "linen"), browns, yellows and greens!

JP the 76 3.0 engine is gone and a 84 carrera with 3.3 je-p&freshly plated cylinders with 8.1/1 going in. Trans was leaking so taking care of some other things while at it. The RSR suspension is all packaged up awaiting another day for that project. I still have the efi to finalize.

Careful now -- one wrong look at an engine like that and she'll make 500whp and split your 915 transmission in two!

Brandon, now that's what a real man's garage is supposed to look like - none of that premadonna, poseur stuff you see in the "show me your garage threads" in the 911 forum!

Brandon, didn't you buy a 930 transmission a year or so ago?

Yes indeed this is true, I actually broke two 915 transmissions before swapping out to a short bell housing 930 transmission.

I did, and while I dearly miss the short ratios, I would never look back. I've decided to deal with the problem of longer gears by making more power.
