Nice!

It is such a great touring car. Took it into the city Friday night and really enjoyed it. Very impressed by factory stereo, just added VDO headunit.

Next up H&R Springs and some spacers then I'm done.

How long have you owned yours? What year is it? Mine is a 99, original paint, bought from a good friend who was the 2nd owner.

Pat,

Almost identical experience, mine is a 98, all original w/factory hardtop. Bought from a good friend who was owner #2. I've had it a couple of years and haven't gotten around to adding the HR's as yet.. maybe this winter. It is a great touring car, even with the top down it handles well, and has enough grunt to do what you need it to do.

I use it quite a bit in the spring and at this time of year here in the mid-Atlantic.. and if you're still a single guy, you'll find that the ladies love it!

Awesome! Got the factory hardtop with mine as well, though I have a small hydraulic leak during operation so need to address before it starts coming on/off regularly. I've only been able to put about a half a tank through it so far but it continues to exceed my expectations. Amazing how well built and ahead of their time these cars were... very special ownership experience.

Day I picked it up... I think my face says it all.

Speaking on your last point - it has been well received!

Turbo owner - its marine blue. A metallic blue that sepending on the light can go anywhere between purple to blue to black.

The tires/wheels are normal 930 sizing.

Thanks Rey, and I agree the ruf wheels look the business of Alex's car.

Looks kinda navy blue in the posted pic, I didn't know marine blue did the color change thing.

I had a Mini-sprint years ago that I used pearl in the clear coat for the effect. Those little cars were a hoot to drive, like go-karts on steroids.

Well if it's not German car, it's another. I had a '95 I bought from a client. Still a handsome car.
