very querious what your ownership experience is like - do report back

what keeps killing that angle for me is - the 930 costs peanuts to own... $390/yr insurance and $15.00/yr in property tax... while a 550 would hit likely $2k++/yr insurance and probably similar for me in property tax here (no antique plates)

Testicleroasters... driven a couple as well - flat12 FTW... and that's about it IMO (no offense, Bo - just my useless opinion... I still dig 'em regardless). Total ergonomic disaster, and any reasonably / nominally built 930 will decimate them. Definitely a fun poster car / attention getter.

dayum that 918 is a ballar shade 'o green!

tho... I'll never (ever) get past them CAULK 'n BAULZ rimz yo... what in the actual FUCH!??? No, srsly.

Thanks Paul, she's very easy to drive. Power comes on very linear. No need to downshift to get up and go..just depress the throttle and she hauls arse. Handles like it's on rails. The only drawback is that I like modify/personalize a car. This car doesn't need anything extra done to it......except for a pair of Capristo Mufflers(done) to let the 12 cyl's sing.

I agree on the Testarossa...I was able to squeeze into one. I could not believe how hard it was for me to get in and out of it.

I remember when I first got my 930 (quite some time ago) my intention was to keep it until I could sell and "upgrade" to a 355. Then it turned into 360. Then 430. Then I realized it wasn't going anywhere.

I will say it would be hard to turn down an offer on a mint 550 though... those cars just have "it". Enjoy in good health Rey!

I'm surprised you got 450 without bumping the displacement and/or compression ratio. Is that expected?
450HP on the engine is ~380HP at the wheels which is typical for the mods listed. It is very easy to get 400WHP with bolt-ons and cams, we do it every day.

Ah good point, I misread. I interpreted that as 450 rwhp.

At 500 rwhp we have roughly the same power/weight ratio as a recent Lambo Aventador.

But in a car with no power steering, no ABS, no air bags, no traction control, no launch control, no paddle shifting, no active suspension......no air conditioning lol

That's what I'm shooting for

I know one car that has between a Veyron and Chiron in power to weight. I prefer it over the McLaren MP12 I rode in today.

I probably prefer several cars before most of the modern supercars offered today. Paddle shift is not my thing. At car meets I get drawn to the 3 pedals cars. I enjoy and admire modern supercars but do not desire them. They all seem so digital and disconnected.

I absolutely have to get work done today, but I'd rather be with the 930. I found a compromise. Better view than my desk at work.
