So after 3 years I bought wider outer lips and had Augment Wheel Co, rebuild the Kinesis wheels and added fresh R888R rubber. They powdercoated the inner barrels black and cleaned the factory gold centres of 20+ years of brake dust. This is the result, couldn't be happier.

Those Kinesis look great on that car.

Was taking a few snaps to post on BAT. May wait a while since the market seems soft. I also need to find a better location with some shade.

Um, we're going to need some more here! Interior pics? Specs? What's the story on the rockers and the vents, your work or you purchased it this way? Gorgeous example.

I looked again... realized the RUF.

Most of the work was done by a previous owner. Came out of a shop near Seaside (Monterey) Calif. Started as an 81SC, pulled down to the tub and rebuilt with the steel flairs, vents, rockers and most of the mechanicals from a 76 930. 930/51 with twin plug heads, Twinfire ignition, Ruf intercooler, lots of Powdercoat and chrome underneath.
I have added the a/c and oil cooler for West Texas, along with the Wheels, lm2, Zork etc.

What is the red button in the center console ahead of the shifter and below the three gauges?

Ahhh! I thought so, but never seen one quite on display like that.

I'm out in the Lubbock area once a month (actually Big Spring), are you the only local 930 owner out there?

Dirty pic of new color scheme on old wheels. Need to switch to either black vitalonis or black aeros the car came with. New front spoiler too which make speed bumps harder than the IROC I used to run. You cant tell its a turbo so makes some surprises along the way.

I know Lubbock my not be on your list of places to visit but come by if you get the chance. I'm the only Air cooled 930ish owner that makes the local car shows and Cars & Coffee but there are a few wc cars. The local PCA puts on a monthly autocross but I have never seen an aircooled 930 run. I used to take my Z4 but lost interest.

me to for autocross.

then you need to go to track day Drivers Ed. I got addicted to DE years ago.

my 930 will not be a track car, but will have to take it to at least on event. but still have a way to go getting it built.

Wheels were first sodablasted, then powdercoated then the black parts were painted but that alone Was 600eur as the taping was time consuming.
