Cool, what is your IG name?
Probably smartest to stick to the original color if you think about value or selling it some time.
I just like to let my painter do something a bit crazy
That and I build cars for myself and love to do custom stuff

Nice! Mike, is this the same color as my '79 paint to sample--Anthracite metallic?

My car could use a re-spray (it lived in the desert SW and the roof, in particular, is really faded), but I'm dragging my feet. Slippery slope...

def do not plan on selling! I just love that original color (I may spice it up though looking at yours ha) I'm no stranger to mods..thinking efi and a better turbo at some point, but love where it sits currently on engine mods and suspension. Gotta take care of the body work as there is some rust..

It’s like taking your supermodel girlfriend to the stripclub..

I’ve heard of ferrari f40s attending such ricer events.. Oh Dear..

Hey Ken. First Thing I did was to weld up all the un-used holes. Then I took some aluminum plate and machined them to capture some m8 bolts that I also machined the heads down. Sort of like a "T" slot configuration.

I then welded the plates to the inside of the bumper.

Finally, I removed the studs from the bumper shocks and just use a nut to secure the bumper to the bumper shocks.

The area where the rubber strips used to sit on the bumper were faired in with an angle grinder and some roloc discs and feathered in with some light-weight filler.

He has a thread somewhere in here. You should see the interior.
That is a special car. It makes me wish I had held out for something more unique.
