In 1982 I bought a 1974 Carrera. The owner had a 1976 or 77 930 exactly like yours. He wanted $26,000 for it and way more than I could afford. I could only dream. I like the 9" Fuchs in the back that you are running. 8" in front? What are the tire sizes front and rear, TBs all around?

Rahl
Thanks Rahl....yes 9 and 8ís. I have 23/62 on the rears and 18/60 on the fronts...according to the Michelin site that works out to 270/45R15 and 215/55R15 respectively. Yes TB15ís all around.

I was wondering why you did not go with wider tires in front...235 or 245 to fill out the fender flair?

Rahl
Rahl, they fill the fender flair just fine. Keep in mind the are 55's..so they are not a low profile tire.

Someone traded in a nice looking special wishes car on a new Tesla. What a shame!

1976 930. She's been off of the road for over 20 years. Got her last year in pieces. Engine was apart, too. Tonight, was a major milestone as I just dropped the engine in. Tools and trash still laying around, but I was excited and had to take the photo anyway!
Hopefully, will get her cranked up in a couple of weeks.

Nice crisp spring day to take the old girl for a drive. Stopped by a coffee shop and had to take a pic from the higher angle afforded by the landscape

Snagged this 87 off a Pelican member a few weeks back as a retirement gift for my Dad. Something for him and I to tinker with and enjoy and hopefully my son as well as he gets a bit older.

Hats off to PcarPhil for being so awesome during the sale process and after and selling me such an awesome, well cared for car.
