Yeah sorry about you're friend.
BTW there is no cooler sound than an Audi five camed and heavily turbocharged. Even stock old school Audi fives sound marvelous. Love them.

^thanks Brendon / Brandon^

Steve had a Rallye Golf and an //S6Plus - only one in the States! Great guy, glad to have him as a friend for 10yrs.

Afukkinmen on the indelible sound of i5's!!! There is almost (almost) NOTHING like the iconic raspy banshee snarl of a 5pot. I enjoyed 85WOTk in mine ... JNR. I'm fortunate to still be closely / heavily involved with that community. Great stuff!

930potd - again atop Mt. Washington @ Climb to the Clouds, deeeeeeeep within said clouds a-climbed:

Where is YOUR 930potd!?

As mine COA reads paint to sample, but after digging with contacts in Germany, came up with 436-9-3 (Sienna Metallic)

Mine is currently black, but will be returning to this beautiful shade this Spring. If you have anywhere you've posted detailed pics of the car, would love some details!

Thank you. The color is the 1st reason why I bought this example. It is soooo very good. As soon as the weather breaks I will get some higher rez quality shots & post them up.

nice garage setup you got goin there too - entirely to neat & uncluttered - unacceptable 8-)

More pics! And, what's to the left there - next to, what - a Boxster or 996? Looks like mebbe... a single-mirror Testicleroaster maybe? How long you had your 930? Welcome, haven't seen you around. Def post more!

Brendon... your shop simply kicks ass - where a 930 is rebirthed. Awesome. Like the effects in that shot, very cool.

hahahahaaa Ronnie... hillllllllllarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiioussssss:

Sgt. Schultz seyz, I knowwww nuthhhhhhhhhink!

No comment, other than you DO know that I DID rock a schoolbus yellow '76 Westy my senior year of HS - until it caught fire pulling into the school lot one day - that's my toasty one on the right:

Thanks Paul.

I have been around awhile. Just watching & enjoying. I have been a regular at the other forum for about 20 years. Been a 930 / 911 turbo guy for - ever.

I had my wife drive her sedan out to show you the floor. Its not as neat & uncluttered as you thought!

I am stuck inside, with a cold day & cars under cover. Good eye by the way. 986 Boxster and Challenge Stradale F-Car are room mates to the 930. Plus a SWB 1967, 3.2 liter Carrera & some more sedans. I move them around now & then to keep it interesting.

I am recovering from a left hip surgery so I have more time to type and less time to be driving. But that may change soon as therapy progresses and the temps continue to rise. Thanks again for the kind words.

Mike, I had my left done in 2010 and the right two weeks ago so whatever your feeling, I'm right there alongside you.
All I can do is let you guys entertain me, plan the spring projects on my 964T and hope the mice don't sell my car off in the meantime since I can't hobble out to the garage to check it
Get well soon.
