MichaelB in 1987 I was inthe Porsche dealership in Lubbock Tx. They had a new Turbo in our cars color. They started telling me how it was a special wishes color etc. I pointed out to the parking lot where my old 76 had that same color

Much different animal with the CEA 6266 billet turbo. The spool is audible at all times. You can even hear it whistling at idle. It sounds pretty mean! And the top end.... Well it is overwhelming my clutch in anything but 1st gear. But no worries... Chris @ TK is about to fix that problem

It's nice to know that someone has been to Lubbock, Tx. "Back in the day" when we had a Porsche dealership!

They held a Porsche gathering in the late 80's when they moved out on the loop late 80's. rented the track down in Big Spring where they had converted the Air Base to a testing facility for Indy Cars. Where I learned my stock brakes were pathetic. Soon had big Reds

Post some pics from the side and tell us more about the rear rims. They are wide lip.

I haven't looked at this tread for awhile...it just kind of rambles in a good way and a guy can catch up pretty quickly.

So this morning, I "woke up, got out of bed, drag (drug) a comb across my head, and I went up stairs to grab a smoke, and someone spoke and I fell into a dream" (aka Der Beatles, or something close anyway). The "dream" was that I would fire up the beast and rape the countryside for a hot bit, but instead proceeded to dismember the transaxle from the motor of my burned babe. Good news...the tranny is in good shape. A picture would not be appropriate for this particular thread, 'cause man there are some great shots here!

No doubt the raised/protruding top represent the errrrr "shape" of Paul's underoos when the candy-takers start a knockin' on the van door (a super-sized version of Paul's miniature, buttofcourse)!
