^what's cookin' Les Paul?

Everytime I go to the local Tractor Supply I look at the welders and say "one of these days I'm getting one" -my wife is so tired of hearing it she's telling me just buy one already.

Which Hobart model have you got there and how do you like it?

It's the Hobart Handler 125. That's a buddy of mine who was a licensed ultra double secret agent welder. Welded on all those exotic stainless piping high pressure lines at a chemical plant. It is a 110 and he says with the right wire (he uses kt) it is a 9 out of 10. We/he is fabbing me hail screens for our greenhouse. We're using 1/2" square tubing. I'm trying to talk him into making a cool frame for my old pro stock drag bike. Thing is we are both to old with too many notches in our belt to actually ride again. He's a former 911 guy who had a bad ass 89 he let go for peanuts back in the day. You've hear that before I'm sure

Is it somehow tied in to the chassis on the leg area firewall?

It will be punched through the firewall with a 1 1/8" hole then riveted in place on the interior side. So to drop the engine, you just twist and unplug and all the electrical (except starter) is disconnected.

Brilliant! I see a market for that mod.

As for the white noise in this thread ... may I suggest that we all just settle down and talk turbo? I have this theme song from Frozen running through my head (Let it go, let it go .....)

Dang IMR-Merlin.

I have got to stop looking at what you are doing. or once I do get started on the 930 I am afraid I'll never get it done with all the great ideas I am seeing on this forum.

forgot to mention. since I got this 930 due to the muffler case splitting and the exhaust burning some engine wiring, once I drop the engine/tranny plan to completely replace the engine bay wiring harness. and will probably upgrade from my old electromotive twin plug to a newer genereation that can control advance/retard.

Thanks Jacob! I did not have that picture. You must have used burst mode on that shot to capture the white blur in action.
