Here's another. Front oil cooler could use some black paint or remove it and strip off all the remnants of old black paint.

Thanks, and yeah I know. There are two layers of 1/4" hardware cloth over the front of the cooler - one flush on the surface of it and one curved outwards like the race cars used to have so that helps protect it.
I also have a regular 911 plastic rear grill I bought some years ago I've been meaning to cut and trim down to size and attach in there somehow but I havn't gotten around to it.

Is this gas pedal extension any useful?

krasuskyp 06-02-2015 03:07 PM

good eye - heh, there's a lot of things to be found in that pic 8-)

YES, it is supremely useful!!! Makes heel / toe very natural, easy, and effective. You've got to dial the brake pedal down @ the adjustment in the cluster first tho, I'd done that yearses ago and it helped but this is icing on the cake fersure.

Scored it off a forum member recently and just installed it, pretty psyched for the find.

Paul, where's the magnetic "FREE CANDY" sign - thought you kept it on the passenger-side floor when the car was garaged?!?!?!

BUTT - EFFFFF YYYEWWWWWWW you only WISH you were this cool! Thanks to Chris (aka - HamSammich's930) I've got half of my new AFR rig (the other component coming from PLX in a day or two). Am stoked to install this beech!

Getcha suuummmmmmm!

Getcha Suuuummmmmm!!!!

Did I mention being stoked fer my new gear?!?!

I love "old school", but I might love electronic gadgetry almost as much - when/if I am ever able to do an EFI conversion, WOOD of galactic magnitude will surely follow!!!

First though, I need to get a Paul-sized intercooler - chaps my ass that you have something that is bigger en' mine (the only thing bigger, that is. Well, except fer yer bunghole, buttofcourse)!!!!

That's the Cars "Candy O" cassette cover; Artwork by Vargas, of Playboy magazine fame.
One of my favorite groups while driving the beast !

Hook....'em....up....DOOD! (closed course with highway road signs....well, yeah). That is so freakin' past what some folks in blue would say is legal, but tell me which one of us can't resist an open road and haven't maybe compromised the law only once in a lifetime. Damn, pretty nice pull, to say the least. If not for tracking (as I know you do) this is why we own these cars, for the occasional spirited sprint into the triple digits when we get a wild hair up the ol' bung port (damn, now I've done it............)

^For the record, I was not present during filming and I had nothing to do with it other than throwing the keys to a very good friend of mine who actually was with me the day I picked up the car in Charlotte, NC. He hadn't driven it since that day (November 2007), so he'd not experienced the new engine, new synchros in the gearbox, new suspension, etc.
