Thanks, and yeah I know. There are two layers of 1/4" hardware cloth over the front of the cooler - one flush on the surface of it and one curved outwards like the race cars used to have so that helps protect it.
I also have a regular 911 plastic rear grill I bought some years ago I've been meaning to cut and trim down to size and attach in there somehow but I havn't gotten around to it.

YES, it is supremely useful!!! Makes heel / toe very natural, easy, and effective. You've got to dial the brake pedal down @ the adjustment in the cluster first tho, I'd done that yearses ago and it helped but this is icing on the cake fersure.

Scored it off a forum member recently and just installed it, pretty psyched for the find.

Hook....'em....up....DOOD! (closed course with highway road signs....well, yeah). That is so freakin' past what some folks in blue would say is legal, but tell me which one of us can't resist an open road and haven't maybe compromised the law only once in a lifetime. Damn, pretty nice pull, to say the least. If not for tracking (as I know you do) this is why we own these cars, for the occasional spirited sprint into the triple digits when we get a wild hair up the ol' bung port (damn, now I've done it............)

^For the record, I was not present during filming and I had nothing to do with it other than throwing the keys to a very good friend of mine who actually was with me the day I picked up the car in Charlotte, NC. He hadn't driven it since that day (November 2007), so he'd not experienced the new engine, new synchros in the gearbox, new suspension, etc.
