These restoration engines cost more than a 911SC (the entire car) so much care is taken inside and outside of the engine during the rebuild/restore process. Every last bolt and component is either new or refurbished date correct.

Brian,
Have you priced 911 SC's lately?

Yes I just bought an SC a few weeks ago. Restoring a 930 engine to this level will cost more than I paid for that car. A case splitting rebuild can eat up $20K in a hurry, which does not include refurbishing every part on or in the engine as was done with this 930/63 smog engine. Whole different ballgame.

Here is the SC that I just bought.
I looked for 2 years to find one at a decent price after getting caught off guard when values shot up. My partner found this one in my own back yard, just over the mountain from me!
Yes when I finally put the air cleaner assembly on the 930 engine I will have just about double the amount of money in it that I currently have in the SC. That amount will be equal when I'm done restoring the SC.

Second to Turbopalooza, today was my best day in the 930 this year!

Sorry for the late reply. It is marine blue. I love the color too. Can really vary from blue to purple to black.

Not a 930, but......it could be a turbo
