Awesome color. I know someone asked already but please share.

Also, I know how you feel. My car left for its transformation back in March. I am hoping to have it back soon; it's been far too long without a 930 in my life!

Old Spool --> its Petrol Blue. turns green in the shade.

Patrick --> I'll be buried in the CRX.

Hams --> main items were gear box and shifter rebuild, clutch, reseal engine, RR k27, torsion bar bushings, rebuild axles, new tires, slight drop in the ride height, and replace this that and that / everything it needed. graham is excellent. He worked on 934s/935s back in the day and sill has a 78 930. I left him the 911 now to play with, albeit ALOT less items to address.

my 930 was painted in amazon green metalic. I am red/green color blind, so it mainly looks blue to me. that pic is an old one from the PO. over the years since it was built in 1990, a number of places the paint has cracked so will do full repaint.

If you're red/green color blind, stay away from red and green for sure. Casablanca beige is SO HOT.

Funny you should mention cobalt blue... my car is going to be cobalt blue. IT was originally gold metallic, someone thought it was Casablanca beige but the paint plate says 406, not 463. I love the look of the Casablanca Beige on a 930. I have a thing about gold cars, though, so it wont happen for me.

... I think.

outlaw is on... the sound is definitely different from the hooligan. deeper, throatier idle and the off boost pops are twice as loud... on boost the car screams. I love it.

Whoa, Hams

That looks like a serious TK undertaking.

What crank is that?

To be honest, I think they're almost all great choices. It's just down to my mood on the day the painter starts buying paint. It could turn out to be Casablanca Beige. It could be Emerald Green Metallic. It could be Zinc Metallic. Is there a plaid option? Tye-dye? Paisley? Ooh, even Argyle would look good I bet.

So now you know why it's such a hard choice for me- I have incredibly poor taste But I already told the painter it's cobalt blue metallic, so it'll be cobalt blue metallic. I can live with it.
