Does the GT3 crank require the oil pump to be slotted to clear the rod(s) or does the use of, Carrillo rods maybe???, remove that issue?

It's almost a shame to hide that mechanical jewel inside the case.

Amazing work from Turbo Kraft once again...

I believe the oil pump needs to be clearanced for Carillo rods but not for Pauter rods.

Motor is coming along! More interesting pictures to come soon enough!

Chris, that is stunning. Is that a proprietary exhaust system?

Quad cat. converter?

Great shot, thanks.

They've been in my motor around 1.5 years now running perfectly. I balanced them on a triple beam down to 1/10 of a gram by grinding some metal out of each end of the wrist pins with a cone shaped grinding bit in a die grinder.
Just another satisfying labor of love while building your own motor that can help it run smoother.

Small mufflers.
Needed short, small diameter ones to tuck it all up high with the old -1973 bumpers.

This is just ridiculous. Outstanding engineering and fab TK - I can't even imagine how quickly this system is going to spool with such short primary and secondary tube lengths in a TT system.

At what rpm are you expecting full boost? Are you going to run the Edelweiss camshafts?

Thanks! High praise from the owner of one of the baddest CIS 930s I've ever driven!

Yup, some of Dirk's biggest meanest turbo camshafts.
Full boost by...? 2,500? 3,000? Kind of doesn't matter -- it's gonna pull like a mutha at all rpms! The last ITB 3.8TT we build was bonkers, this should be more so.
