there's something about shooting a 930 - endless composition opportunities

whenever I pass by mine and something catches my eye, I grab some shots

today's, just because:

share yours, the more unique the more ballar... :D

Ronnie's.930 11-12-2014 09:19 PM

^^^ Tony, are you experiencing some "self worth" issues or something?!?!

^^^ Paul wishes he was this cool!

Tippy 11-12-2014 09:52 PM

I can't help but to say Ronnie, that, that Zork looks rowdy.

LOL on the personalized plate. Good one.

Ronnie's.930 11-12-2014 10:04 PM

Ha! Thanks Cory! I've never had a personalized plate before (have owned cars since around 1984), thought of that plate idea out of the blue, and decided to get it. People definitely get a laugh out of the "anit-green" connotation - hardy har har!

That's actually a "wannabe" Zork (one of Brian's mufflers with center out, tip - no "just the tip" jokes, Paul!) - have had that in use for around six years or so, now.

krasuskyp 11-13-2014 06:01 AM

excellent, Ronkneepads... esp for you!

heh yeah - dunno wtf's goin on there w/Tony... I kindasorta meant pics YOU TOOK, ala:

MikeD930 11-13-2014 02:34 PM thread! How about this one. I have to admit that I did not take that pic today.

Ukusto 11-13-2014 05:22 PM

Love this curvy part of my car!
Had this pic blown up to 40" square and its on the wall at work!

krasuskyp 11-13-2014 06:35 PM

MikeD! Really great pic! Bah, not taken today - posted today. Just a pic of the day 8-). Preferably, one you took and that has 'something' to it.

On the reflection thought, I was so pissed a week ago.

Was out in mine, passed a glazing truck on the highway. As I went past, I realized it wasn't glass but mirror. As I streaked by, I was bummed I'd not planned to snap a rolling selfie, woulda been whole car, perfect sunlighting. Too much traffic to lift and clog. Ah well.

Iain... amazing color, and awesome it's on yer wall - great idea!

that is what I am planning when I get mine done. lot of work to do, just getting into it.

got it not running as the old B&B muffler case split, hot exhaust up into the engine bay, burned some wiring. started working on the damage, and decided to go the 'full monty' with it. once I get the clutch job done on my 951, will drop the engine/tranny to begin.

pic is from PO.

911tracker85 11-14-2014 08:03 AM

PS. and when I do get it on the road, hope to be able to get a personal plate with

can only have 6 characters here, trying to capture the old nickname "widow maker"

It's an 84...owned it since 86. Swapped out engine for an 89 Supra Turbo engine (after rebuilding it) in '01-'02 along with engine, suspension and brake upgrades. Dynoed 350 rwhp.

JFairman 11-18-2014 08:55 AM

Here's one I took a couple years ago with a fisheye lens. The car is actually a more subtle greyish blue color they called venetian blue.
I tone mapped it and raised the color saturation to make it look like this...

Since my non-smogable 930's tag has expired, I am mainly driving the Carrera 3.0

This past Sunday I took this picture.
Not 930 either, but nice.
Afterwards we did this
