Not 930, but ridiculously insane!
My College aged niece sent me this link!
[HOONIGAN] KEN BLOCK'S GYMKHANA SEVEN: WILD IN THE STREETS OF LOS ANGELES - YouTube |
Yeah, that was something.
Ken Block is the man.
Sorry, but this Block person is getting old.
Here are two drifters from Norway that know their stuff: Kenneth Alm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGj39qCfuSc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wq3h5aBwjfg Kenneth Moen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0iwKJe7zRI |
he cant drive worth a ****:(
I think people are getting drifting and Gymkhana confused. Ken Blocks ability to incorporate good driving and make an entertaining video is spot on in my book.
I used to vintage race a 66 GT350. It had 1/2 the HP, 1/2 the drive wheels, 2/3 the gears, 1/10 the brakes, and 1/100 the tire budget of Kens ride, but it was still fun.
That said, I would love to have an unrestrained hour in Kens car at VIR. Drifting his car over the hill in turn ten with four wheels smoking would make my day, if not my life. https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-U.../shelby-70.jpg |
If anybody is planning a visit to Norway, look at this video, and come see what Gatebil is all about...

+1 merlin !!!!!

He drives well, If you don't think so you're not looking close enough. Anyway how can you not see? They give multiple angles and varying speeds of the footage. Open you're eyes, he's driving well. Going backwards in a massive drift around a hairpin turn nearly backing into a Popo car or cement barrier missing by mere inches. He's driving well bud. You do that!
I want his job soooo bad!
Very entertaining. Crazy car.
Wow, that was cool - made me want to get the car out and and blast around the neighborhood doing donuts and shif!
Very cool and great engine sound. I wonder how much it costs to get the cops to block off that many streets and what day/time was this with so little LA traffic?
Impressive tires.
I was thinking the motor was impressive to sustain the constant beating he was putting to it. 8k+ rpm's. Awesome stuff.
Would be quite a ride to be a passenger in that car. |
Very cool. Thanks for sharing.
