Red calipers & green shocks...how Christmasee.

Looks like the car has never even been started or on the road, at least not since it was 100%restored/detailed/painted etc.

Although it looks like some heavy asses have been it the back seats. Has euro tail lights but not euro front fender side markers, euro exhaust but no euro rear fog light, non euro front turn signal lenses as well. Odd speedo too.

But then again...I don't know what a Japanese market car would have had???

Beautiful none the less!

Mark

If it was a Japanese market car, it would be RHD.

That's the typical Japan market rear seat. Not sure why it is done that way.

Japan must be the last place to get decent deals on these, symbolic has a 76 on the way from Japan.

Most of the high end cars that you find in Japan, such as a 930, certain BMW's, and Mercedes Ferraris etc..along with other special interest vehicles tend to be LHD because they were imported in as used cars. Meaning, they were older model vehicles at time of import.. mostly so that the customer could get what they wanted and not pay the heavy import duty that was charged for the later model, or new at the time vehicle.

Having sent a couple there this was my understanding.. as well as with the couple of BMW Alpina Cars that a friend bought from Japan.. they were all LHD.

Japan has smog regulations as harsh as the CARB; I've heard that California smog compliant cars are acceptable imports over there.
