The 930 is definitely Iconic

This picture says it all. Walter Rohrl standing next to Ferry Porsche's 930. Mr Rohrl owns a 73 RS, 81 3.3 turbo, 964 RS. Classic Porsche issue #25

I wonder if Ferry drove with more power than chassis?

Walter's favorite Porsche is his 964 RS, I love my turbo's but they don't hold a candle to a 964 RS.

Hey Pete,
That is so funny. My brother lives on Lake Norman and he sent me a few pictures of a car he saw going out for coffee.... look familiar.
BTW, car looks great!

Tom

Funny story, went out to lunch yesterday afternoon and it up sitting in a spot where I could see my car very clearly without having to try. My daughter had the best view of all walking into the restaurant and couldn't help but laugh every guy that walked past a car looked, pointed, some walking over checking from behind. Just an interesting observation one I have never witnessed so obviously.
PS: I just removed all my tint, like it much better that way.

Lookin stellar there Pete!

Every car I buy gets tinted within days of purchase. It just looks right IMO. Except the 930! 8-)

Funny your car was spied, go figure.

And, amen on the guy gawkers! I met a former colleague for lunch last week and was a couple minutes early, so I waited outside because it was super nice out. I was no where near my car but was definitely enjoying the view from afar.

Literally evvvvery dude that walked past did a maaaajor stare session on their way by. Some even looking back at it the entire way into the restaurant.

It was pretty cool to witness, tho I guess it really shouldn't come as a surprise heh heh...

Pete-
Nice car.
I have a friend who uses a side loading ramp for his wheelchair. Based on my hanging with him I doubt he would be impressed with your parking. However he flies his plane with hand controls so he would probably be asking if a 930 could be had with an automatic trans.
