930 turbo engine compartment seal
I am looking to replace the rubber seal above the turbo that seals the engine tin to the car body Part # 930-504-170-01-M136 ---cost is $120 or so. It seems like the 911SC uses a different part number that's half the price.
Question: can I use the 911SC seal in place of the turbo seal? I only need the section of the seal directly above the turbo as the replacement long seal also contains both edges that run along the valve covers which are fine on my car and I could trim them off the new part as I don't need to replace these. What makes the turbo seal different? thanks guys, Fred
