I've been trimming fat for quite some time. I won't know until I have it corner balanced but I'm hoping for under 2700.
Robby.... the copious amounts of JB weld you've been huffing have gone to your head.

Cant beat The drill master, but I'm at 1191 kg ~ 2625lbs With over half tank. No ac and fiber bumpers and RUFs. Change to Oz Alleggeritas should feel nice. I also still have heavy battery to change out and cf hood but thats about it. I like my sun roof too much to rid it. Maybe if there was a removable cf lid?

If I were Roland I would be like a mad dog trying to reach 999kilos!

Original leather Interior
Seats
Sound deadening
Stereo (deck, speakers, wiring)
A/C (compressor, condensers, hoses, evaporator, dryer, everything)
TB suspension and front end including control arms and mounts
Bumper shocks
Rear bumper
Spare tire
Battery
Exhaust
Secondary Air and associated pieces

Installed:
Recaro Pole Positions
RSR interior
Rebel S Racing 935 Suspension including front end
Shaved rear bumper
Euro Bumper shocks
Odyssey 925

Biggest weight reduction came from the interior, namely the seats and rear interior removal. The A/C complete with all parts weighed quite a lot. The front suspension is extremely heavy compared to the 935 chromoly suspension with coilovers. Basically everything I don't use has been removed.

Kind regards,

Chris.

77 930 on a diet (2115 pounds/unknown how much fuel in tank), only fiberglass is the front and rear bumper blades, rear 3 are lexan as well.

Headed back to paint shop for chin spoiler paint.

Jimmy, have you checked your car on any other scales? Those numbers seem too good to be true to me. 666 on the right rear sounds strange...seriously, its lower than the left rear.

If you dont mind, could you list some of the heavy mods/removed items you have on the car? I'd like to know if ie. front suspension is huge difference if you have a rsr one.

TIA

KMW was working the corner balancing on a race car for an event that weekend. We threw my car up to get a weight only. The car is still a month or so from being finished, we still need to corner balance mine before its done.

The suspension is maxed out with elephant racing components with the exception of Tarret sway bars.

As far as stripping weight, all the usual things such as all heat/defrost (no A/C car) components out, no wipers/wiper motor, antenna, rear seats, RSR carpet, no sound pad/insulation at all, nothing up front, small battery, Lexan rear 3 windows, no roll bar, light weight seats. FG front and rear bumpers, no fog lights, sure im missing something. I also dumped the stock rear brakes and went with PMBs alloy rear brakes which are 4lbs lighter a corner. The Hoosiers also help a bit.
