Anyone have any leads on a new Mahle set? 930-103-958-01-SET Piston/cylinder set. Fits 1976-1977 Turbo 3.0 liter with a c/r of 6.5:1, 95mm, Nikasil. TIA

I have seen new Mahle 3.0 930 P&C advertised on e-bay, about $4,000.00. Have you tried contacting Mahle directly?

No I haven't but according to the ebay guy you've seen, they're awaiting a new production date and he should have that info shortly. In the meantime I am curious if there's a set already in the US somewhere?

I have a used set that I took off my 77' that had aprx. 40k miles on them if you're interested.

Yea, I did but not much help. Sent an inquiry to Mahle Corporate and then they forwarded it to Mahle US. He just gave me a list of importers. Not much assistance in nailing down a new set.

Have you contacted EBS Racing? Do you have the existing pistons and cylinders? You might want to consider replating the cylinders by US Chrome and buying a new set of pistons if they are out of spec. US Chrome can also dry-film the new piston skirts for a modest fee. Send both the pistons and cylinders together so they can measure fitment.
