This is the "one" guys

I know some dont like valuation threads but this car is epic.

Reportedly owned by famed Steve McQueen. Fantastic color.

This will be what sets the standard. Any guesses? $500k? $1M? More? We only have to wait till August to find out.

Our cars will shine the brightest when this one crosses the block.

This will be very interesting to watch. The sky's the limit on this one if it's 100% documented. Get ready for the next leg up on valuations this summer.

Just this one. He always ordered his cars in slate gray, to boot. I thought Chad was going to keep it, but after dads early S snagged over a mil, something's gotta give. This car will crack a mil. I'll put money on it.

You know the owner Pete? How cool is that!

I am betting that you are all spot on with your estimates.

This car sold not long ago at auction for something like $140k, right before 3.0 turbo prices took off. Now that projects seem to sell for more than that, it should be very interesting to see what a PTS turbo owned by the coolest man to ever walk the planet will sell for.

Love the colour, really nice clean car. There are things that aren't original, such as the dash being a later style, but with this history, I don't think that will have much impact. I just hope that whoever buys it actually drives it. These escalating prices are turning these things into garage art.

Last sold for $137,500 in 2008 at Gooding. Estimate back then was $125,000-$175,000.

Should be a game changer now!

Perhaps $50k for Steve McQueen -heritage? Values of 3.0 cars have gone up, celebrity margin has not

Here ya go Kenikh. Easy money, Highway Star posted on " April 15 Hagerty Valuations are out " says only $50K premium for SM "heritage" provenance.

I'll take that bet. This car will break a mil. Of that, I'm certain.

Off-topic but was the paint code of that particular version of Slate Grey? I've always been curious to know.

What's not to like about primer with high gloss, clear sprayed on top of it!?!?

PS - I actually like it for some reason!

Not a fan of drab colors on a sports car. Little sports cars should be bright colors. But that's just my opinion lol.

Then you'd be wrong.

The code for Slate Gray is 6401 or 6601, depending on the year. They are both the same mixture.
