Who is good at finding part numbers?
Hi guys need the pn for a plug on the oil tank to the front of the filler neck at the same level
It a big rubber plug to plug a fiting that is not used on my car 89 turbo Thanks Erick |
Here it is, Erick.
Pelican Parts - European Automotive Parts and Accessories - Porsche • BMW • Mercedes • Volkswagen • Audi • Saab • Volvo • MINI I found it on page 38, item #11 of the PET (took a lot of looking as it was not in the same section as the oil tank - who knows why). http://www.porsche.com/all/media/pdf/originalparts/usa/911_USA_87_89_KATALOG.pdf |
Right on
Thanks |
Erick
I'm thinking that this could be a useful thread moving forward for those that may be having difficulty finding parts and part numbers. I've all but given up on a plug that I believe fills the hole on my rear bumper for the tow hook just to the left of my license plate. http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y94...psi9bikgma.jpg |
Home Depot, Lowes, and all the generic auto parts stores around here sell generic black plastic plugs in multiple sizes. I'm sure you can find one that will fit that hole in your bumper. If one presses in loose or it shrinks from exhaust heat a little clear silicone glue will hold it in place.
