Porsche wins at SOWO 2015
Well, brought my car up to Helen, GA for the SOWO 2015 ( Southern Worthersee) car show and weekend.
I ended up getting into the top 50 on Saturday, and was invited back to be judged again on Sunday. We ended up bring home the "Best Forced Induction" award!!! There was well over 1000 vehicles there in the show (and WAY more that were not part of the show), and over half of those were boosted. HELL YEA!!!!! [IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG][IMG] [/IMG]

Thanks, Paul! Yea, it was a mad house! Too many youngins not behaving themselves. And the fact that SOWO has grown out of that small town, IMHO.
I didn't get to do any mountain runs either, as it took us almost 3 hours to get back to our cabin (10 miles). So, it looks like another mountain run is in order.

One of the things I appreciate about builds like yours, Brad, is, like Tony V. always says, it is exactly what Porsche (and all niche market manufacturers, really) intended for the owners of these machines to do; not to "preserve" the starting platform, but to go balls out making the stock car morer betterer (like they - the factory - did)!

I always thought that all these judged shows require cars to be absolutely stock.
I have never attended any show but if they do not mind modified cars then why the market values of stock cars are so much higher then properly modified, much better to drive and so much more fun cars? |

Lol, you do not understand what Sowo is apparently Janus. Sowo is a "yolo" "hellaswag" generally stance style crowd. I know of it's terrible reputation, and I was not even gonna bring my 930 out. Would definitely have given the stuff there a run for the money. I usually do the more mellow shows in Florida like Simply Clean, or V2Lab.

Nicely done, Brad!
Regardless of what type of 'stanceypants' crowd, at least someone has taste.
