That's what I was thinking and that's what he did, read post 51.

OT edit - puddy I see you are running 8.5 CR, how do you like it and what boost? Also did you use a tuner in the Toronto area or do your own? I'm from WNY and want a tuner for my next project, there is no one here I'd use. Have been looking at Magnus Motorsports, Lloyds Autosport (not sure he does ECU tuning), Hunter Motorsports. Any recommendations? I'm probably going to use an AEM ECU. Thanks. Can send me a PM so as to not pollute this thread.

In the end, I did, with weld on flair fenders like when new. I looked for a year trying to find them, gave up and started on the repairs.

One day I checked out my local Craig's list ad's and just 40 miles from my house I found the fenders I search for.

I run 8.3:1 on twin plugs and 993SS cams. It makes people with stock 930s cry. Pulls like a 964 from idle, then the boost hits and off it goes. Reinforces my belief that the 930 is the worst STOCK 911 body car Porsche built. With compression, it is the BEST.

My 930 with the K27/29, Rarly headers and exhaust, longneck, and the frankenCIS is the 3rd fastest car I've ever driven behind the Caterham Superlight R and the Ferrari 458 Italia. I can't imagine what these ones with bigger compression and displacement and cams go like. I sitting near the top of a very slippery slope

I'll PM you. But incase anyone else cares to know. I really like the car as is, its runs and drives great but i'm used to the power now and need more however I have no previous 911 experience to compare the feel of 8.5:1 to. I'm running .9 bar spring. The previous owner did all the tuning work to it 20 years ago. That was in Montreal area. I don't know who did it.

Is this the same guy that posted on page 1 that he didn't want to buy a 46mm crows foot

You may win the award for the head first dive down the slippery slope. Damn thing looks gorgeous!
