Borla Muffler Install
Here are some pic of the old school Borla that I was lucky enough to find on the inter-webs. I must say that this is worth it for the weight savings alone. That old euro-spec muffler weighed way more than I thought it would. Lots of Kroil at the old nuts but they came off easy.
![]() Insure that new gaskets & copper lock nuts are used. The original strap was usable although I did have to move it to the other side of its original mounting point. ![]() I am very happy with the sound, especially the off throttle burble & popping. ![]() ![]()

nice job on the trimming, I ventured the same years ago and it is a bit of a leap of faith certainly
yaknow Brian B. here sells valances, right? Or maybe they're only FG not tin? As you may have read here, I've got a maaaajor fixaxtion regarding tailpipe alignment personally... if it were mine, I'd get back in there and get righty out and down a bit, or lefty up and in - likely some combo thereof. Even if it means hack 'n fab. Yeah. Otherwise, it's BSS (Bad Strippertits Syndrome): ![]() ...which is, as we know... Just Not Right. Smell ya in ~6ish weeks, good sir!

Yeah Paul, Brians are FG & I wanted to install the factory heat shield so i needed a OEM valance.
it seems you are correct they are a tad uneven. I would need to heat the right side & then get it down a bit. Will see if it bothers me as much as it does you. LOL
