Hi all I have seen posts on the forum on Fuel line replacement... I want to replace fuel lines all the way from the tank through the tunnel all the way to the rear on my 1982 930 .. is there a kit available ... do you replace them with steel lines, normal rubber type lines or the factory style lines.. what a job to remove them don't want to do that again...I am running an EFI system,..

I wouldn't recommend steel braided lines since the path that the lines take can rub up against other things and they will be very abrasive compared to the original lines and may cause unintended consequences. My lines were 26 years old and still working fine when I replaced them this past winter with lines fabricated by Len Cummings. IMO, his setup is the way to go. Perfect fit, high quality and he is available to help with any issues or install questions.

as said - call Len, he's da man
You said you already removed your OE lines - you kindasorta boned yerself in that Len sends you your new lines w/ a coupler fitting to affix to the rear of your OE line... so that you grab the front of the OE line and pull it out / pull in the new line. cross your fingers you'll be able to snake the new line in successfully w/o impingement - good luck |
