Nice set of headers with heat available...

Doesn't anyone mod these things anymore?! I have had these for sale on/off for the past ~6 months with relatively zero interest. I remember when these would not have lasted more than a week on the board. Figured I would try them here to see if anyone out there is still having FUN with their 930s making them fast and loud.

Looking for $1000.

These headers were purchased from Willhoit Performance in Springfield, MO in March of 1994. They are an early design from Ken McNeil (original designer/fabricator for B&B and GHL). They are constructed of high-performance 304 Stainless Steel. These headers are good for bolt-on 40hp gains. I am selling them in favor of a set of tuned, equal length headers from RarlyL8 performance/M&K Exhaust. The 'elephant trunk', a common failure point on this design, has been recently reinforced and TIG welded. This set of headers with a K27 and an aftermarket exhaust will really wake up your 3.0/3.3l turbo motor and the sound is incredible.

I think the problem is, the value of the 930 is rising so rapidly, people are scared to stray from from stock, therefore the aftermarket prices and demand are going down.

look at the 3.2 intake manifolds. They used to be 1200-1300$, now, 600$

I have what appear to be an identical set on my 930 clone project. and I will be replacing them with headers/muffler set from Rarlyl8 too. :D

my guess is the only market for this stuff will be 930s that have been modded past the point of return to stock, or clones like the one I am rebuilding.

do these fit on a 3.6?

I think you're priced a bit high for used headers IMO - come down on your price to something more reasonable and they'll go quickly.

And I don't agree with the value sentiments keeping folks from buying these - had I not already had headers that'd be the first damn thing I'd do to my stock car! I don't at all get how a good set of headers could be perceived as reducing the value of one of these... and the benefit is soooooooo worth it.

A 40 hp gain is an optimistic number.
With these headers being over 20 years old and made of 304 stainless, they've had to have been repaired at least once for cracks and if not they are due soon.
The expansion joint has been damaged by ground contact.

Honestly, nobody wants one. No bites on my end.

Not only the rising prices of these cars but the cost of converting to EFI may have some rethinking their path.

The last shot shows the repair work done to the elephant trunk.

I went Rarly8 also. BB headers and exhaust are collecting dust. No bites in marketplace. I have given some chit away for free to Pelican brothers. Guessing that may be the route for the BB system. I do not hold onto stuff, throw it out if it sits more than 6 months. Would rather give it to someone who could use it than junk it. 930 forum has slowed way down with all the car sales.
