I hoping to install the engine this week, I should receive the slave cyl and the rear HD"s shocks tomorrow, I was thinking of attaching the slave cyl to the line off the trans before I do the engine install for ease of bleeding, I'l see how that will works out tomorrow when i bleed the whole brake system.

Glad to see this finally taking shape,, lots of trials and tribulations but patience pays-off in the end.

If you need help with the details, install or whatever, in our area, as you may know, Geoff @ ASG would be a good bet.

I've done a couple of these (964/5 Etc.) last one being 993.. and access to a lift makes it a hell-of-lot easier and quicker. Personally, I like to move both the IC and the decklid just to move around a bit more

I've got a system for the 964T if you want to let that jewel breath a little better!

Great work! A bit different than the 3.6N/A motor no doubt.

I have the same problem with pictures from my I phone they seem to post sideways no matter what I do.

Drive it in good health.

Just had a fresh set of tires put on this morning, Amazing how fresh rubber feels, The old ones were old and dry . Next Thursday i'm taking her to Local Porsche deal to charge the AC system and a 4 wheel alignment, Then to RPM racing for corner balance.

Does the engine number really matter to most people ? or if I ever decide to sell how much will effect the selling price ?

Another 92 965 was produced 7/15/1991 VIN Ending in NS480089 trans # G50/52 2000621 Engine# 61NO0563

My 965 was produced 7/30/91 VIN ending in NS480098, my car is G50/52 2000754 engine # 61NO0729

Another one produced 9/20/91 VIN ending NS480239 trans #G50/52 2000847 engine# 61NO0772

Looks to me that both my engine and Trans where produced in the right time frame my car was produced, I'm sure that it's not matching numbers, but matching dates , if that really matters

As an investment right now yes what tomorrow decides who knows. As an experience it is priceless. The adventure in itself is worth the rewards the smile when the boost comes on is that much more rewarding.

Drive it in good health.
