You guys ought to try NO muffler - mine sounds the same as several with that gawd awful beer can sized weight hanging off the turbo, lol

here is my last DE day of the season at VIR in November in my 79 930. The turbo lets go on the last lap, listen closely to hear the high pitched squeal when the turbine wheel exploded and shot schrapnel out the zork tube.

I don't know about 20 minutes in the video, its the last lap before I came off track. You will see my reaction looking in the rearview when it exploded.

it blew holes thru the wall of the exhaust tube.....pretty crazy.

Great to see another 930 being enjoyed on track. The Glen and VIR are favorites of mine. I usually run the Glen with the GVC BMW guys and VIR with Chin but I don't know Riesentoter and who do you run with at VIR?

I am looking forward to the new surface at the Glen and plan to get to VIR at least once in 2016 - it would be good to be at either with another 930!
