Rota MXR Gold. How to fit these on my 930?

I found these and i just got chills down my back. Pure porn, i think atleast.

Rota MXR 18x11 Guld - streetwheels.se
Rota MXR 18x9 Guld - streetwheels.se
Can these be fitted to my 79 930? Is it possible to redrill to 5x130 or something? What about offset?

Been seaching for hours trying to find answers but come up short. Really want them!!!

Thank you for any input

Replace the spacers on your 930 with adapters and bolt them on. Your 1979 930 has the early front hubs which allow you 1" to work with an adapter. I've been running a set of Fuchs on my GMC truck for 13 years now using adapters. Anything is possible.

There is a saying, "Friends don't let friends roll on Rotas".

So with adapters they will have the correct offset also and fit? If that is the case i might get them.

Do you have a clicky on the adapters Brian?

If i was going all in and no budget i`d get the ruf speedlines. But with shipping and tax we`re talking $7-9k so that is faaaar off my capability.

chills/porn do not belong in the same sentence as Rota

After getting over the classic and now old, "Rota wheels are bad", i did some research and i don`t think the Rotas are as bad as you guys think. The biggest car company in the world uses them i think. They are also used for track and drifting successfully. I think they look the bomb and considering the price it`s a no brainer for me.

Will wait to see if Brian has some good tips if these fit and he can show me the right adapters. I loved the wide wheels on his ride.

Also, i would kill for the Lindsey "fuchs", but they are not even available.

While those Rotas do look good, I'd save up for a set of BBS E28. I found a set and restored them myself. Now I am saving up for the tires.

I believe they will look killer

i fit rotas to a mate's evo, one side didn't clear the brake calipers thanks to variations in casting...
response from the company was essentially "too bad"
so no, will not be supporting poorly built wheels from a company that can only rip off far better, more original designs.

I've had 2 sets of Rotas and did not have a good experience with either. The 2nd set was a replacement for the 1st set that was defective.

I can just imagine the amount of "i told you so"`s if i buy these and they break in some way.

I have cup wheels now and they are the most ugly wheels ever put on a Porsche. I have as said wheels i want but they are totally out of my pricerange. Not even considered!

I do however need a bit more info on the fitment of the wheels i linked. I just dont understand how i find out if they fit or not. I think i`ve found adapters but i`ll wait and hope Brian chime in with details. Whenever i see WIDE wheels on a Porsche i cum a little. Only chance i have is with this solution.

Advise on what i need etc
